Candidates can check their GATE 2026 result on the official website. The result will be announced on March 19. Students who have appeared for the exam will be able to check the result. The GATE MTech/research result determines the qualifying status of the applicant for the counselling process.

No, the GATE 2026 hall ticket can be downloaded for free. There are no charges to download the admit card. Candidates have to visit the official website (application portal) to download. The credentials required to download are enrollment ID and password.

If your photo is printed properly in the GATE 2026 admit card, then try downloading it first with a good internet connectivity. If the still problem persists, then contact your GATE zone helpline number mentioning your issue. Take multiple printouts to avoid any kind of tampering.

No, the GATE authorities do not send the admit card by post or any other means. Candidates have to download their GATE admit card from the official website only. The GATE 2026 admit card download link will be made available at the GOAPS portal.

Since, the GATE 2026 exam is conducted on multiple days, the admit card mentions the specific date and time when the candidate have to reach the centre to appear the exam. The GATE admit card 2026 will be released on January 2. Candidates attempting GATE paper this year, must download the admit card from the website.

The GATE cutoff (last year - 2025) for electrical engineering can be checked below -

  • General category - 25
  • OBC-NCL/EWS category - 22.5 marks
  • SC/ST category - 16.6 marks

Candidates must note that GATE cutoff varies every year, depending on various factors like number of applicants appearing, difficulty level, pattern, etc.

Pradeep Chauhan was the GATE 2025 topper in the electrical engineering branch, scoring 81.67 marks out of 100. His GATE score was 1000. In GATE 2025, around 83355 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 67701 candidates appeared for the test.

The GATE 2025 cutoff for Aerospace Engineering (category-wise) can be checked below -

  • General category - 28.9
  • OBC-NCL or EWS category - 26
  • SC/ST category - 19.2

Out of 7576 candidates, 6009 applicants appeared for the exam. Candidates must note that the GATE cutoff varies every year depending on certain factors, such as difficulty level, registered applicants, etc.
