A Genetics course is an educational programme that focuses on the study of genetics, which is the branch of Biology that deals with the inheritance, variation, and expression of genes in living organisms.

Genetics plays a crucial role in understanding how traits are passed from one generation to the next, how genetic information is stored and transmitted, and how it influences the development and functioning of organisms.

Hi, yes you can pursue a degree in Genetics without a background in Mathematics, especially at the UG level. While some degree programs may have minimal math requirements, the emphasis in Genetics is generally on biological and molecular concepts rather than advanced mathematical principles.

Both fields are unique. Genetics is about the - genetic information, heredity, and the molecular basis of traits. Biotechnology is all about applying biological principles to develop new technologies. You can always evaluate curriculum and career scopes of each field to make a more informed decision.
