Dear,
India is a country where you can find many colleges with mechanical at top of all the engineering trades. Go for DTU, AMU, BHU, MNNIT, etc.
Going Germany is ultimate choice if you have enough bucks to invest and passion towards German language too. Iits are also there to opt from them. Regards.

The pattern of education in Germany is quite different than what it is in India. There is a great focus on practicals and on job training, even during the engineering. Excellent academics is of course primary requirement. But, there are plenty of nuances. I would advise you to approach an agency that deals with sending students to Germany for undergraduate courses.

These are some of the best countries in this sector. The question can be quite debatable and depends on an individual's perspective. It can be unworthy and you may not get the desired ROI, if you plan to study in any Tom and Harry college abroad including Canada or Netherlands. Hi Saurav, generally it's the undergraduate score and projects which is more important. As far as tests are concerned they will only require test scores like IELTS and/or TestDaf. GATE scores are also accepted but it's not mandatory. Preferences and requirements differ from university to university and also, it will also depend on your profile.
