Students pursuing an MBBS at GMCH Chandigarh are eligible to apply for several scholarships provided under various government schemes. Some of these scholarships are as follows:

• Pre-matric Scholarships, Post-matric Scholarships, and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for Minority students
• Pre-matric, Post-matric and Top Class Education Scholarship for students with disabilities
• Post-matric Scholarships to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes and Transgenders

After qualifying the GCET entrance exam, the next step is to register for the counselling conducted by the college. For this, applicants must visit the college's official website, log in and upload the required documents. Then, shortlisted candidates must report to the college for a medical fitness test and physical verification of original documents. It is followed by the submission of first instalment of the applicable GMCH Chandigarh BSc fee to confirm the admission.

The total number of BSc seats at GMCH Chandigarh is a summation of the seats available for various BSc specialisations offered at the college. The college offers four specialisations under its BSc programme. The total student intake for these specialisations is 100. The GMCH Chandigarh BSc application dates may vary yearly. Based on the previous year's schedule, the application process is expected to begin in June. In 2024, the application forms were released by the college on its official website on June 21, 2024. The application process continued till July 10, 2024. Aspirants must stay updated with the admission schedule to avoid missing the deadline. Hence, they are advised to visit the college's official website regularly.

GMCH Chandigarh conducts GMCH Combined Entrance Test (GCET) to shortlist applicants for BSc admission. The seats are allocated through the subsequent counselling process based on the GCET ranks of applicants. However, to be eligible for the conuselling rounds, applicants are required to score the minimum qualifying marks in the GCET, which are as follows:

• General/General PwD category: 45% or more
• SC/SC PwD category: 40% or more

Candidates seeking BSc admission at GMCH Chandigarh must submit an application fee online at the time of filling the Part-I of the application form. The fee is non-refundable. It must be paid using online modes of payments, such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking, etc. It cannot be deposited in any other form, such as cash, cheque, demand draft etc. The category-wise application fee for BSc admission at the college is as follows:
