The SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2026 has not been released yet. The Commission will mention the SSC CGL exam pattern 2026 in the official notification. The authority is expected to release the official notification on March 31.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) itself releases the exam pattern for the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examination.  

The candidates should try to solve the previous year's question paper in the exam-like conditions in a time-bound manner. The real-time practice with the official question papers will give a clear understanding of the SSC CGL exam pattern. The Commission releases the SSC CGL question papers after the result and mentions the candidate's response and official answer key.

Staff Selection Commission mentioned the new exam pattern in the official notification of 2022 exam. The Commission reduced the number of Tiers in the exam from 4 to 2. The Commission reduced the number of tiers to expedite the exam process because of the Central Government Mandate to increase the recruitment in the Government. The SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the following posts:

• Group 'B' Gazetted
• Group 'B' Non-Gazetted
• Group 'C'
