No, there is no interview stage for the RBI Assistant post. This is because it is a clerical-level post, and for such posts, as per government rules, there is no interview process. The following is the selection procedure for RBI Assistant:
1. Stage one: The preliminary stage of objective-type questions
2. Stage two: The main stage of 200 marks and five sections
3. Stage three: The language proficiency test stage in the selected state's regional language

You cannot study for the RBI Assistant exam with a single book. There are five subjects covered on the RBI Assistant Exam syllabus. As per analysis of previous year's papers for RBI Assistant the level of overall difficulty of the exam is usually moderate.
1. The question level in the English Language section is usually easy to moderate.
2. The Quantitative Aptitude and reasoning ability sections can be difficult in some years. However, the majority of questions are of a moderate level.

Yes, even if you studied the local language in 10th grade, you must take LPT to get selected as an RBI Assistant. The Language Proficiency Test is conducted after the main exam for RBI assistants. Once you clear the main exam, you need to appear in LPT on the required date. As per the syllabus and difficulty level, you need a minimum of three months to prepare for the IIFT entrance test. There are 110 questions divided into four sections. KVS is the most seeking/ desirable job in government. Education sector. KVS will recruit the candidate in two stages written test and final KVS cut-off [including both written & Interview Marks. On the basis of the cut off for the written test, candidates will be called for the interview. After the interview is conducted, KVS will release the final cut off list. If candidates secure the final cut off marks, they will be recruited for the posts they applied for.
