Hi, if you want to get a job in any PSU, the most common route is to do B.Tech and qualify for GATE. Including this, there are the following ways to get a job at PSU:
1. GATE. This is the most popular route through which you need to get enrolled in the B.Tech course and appear in the GATE entrance test in the final semester. You can get a job at a PSU like ONGC based on your score.
2. UGC NET Having a valid UGC NET score in any engineering subject is another way to get into PSU. Top PSUs such as OIL, HPCL, NTPC, and others recruit through this exam.
3. CSIR NET This exam is useful if you have some Science subjects, such as earth Science, in your master's degree. You can get a job in TISS, BARC, IARI, and even ISRO with this score.
4. CLAT Some PSUs recruit law officers based on the CLAT score. To apply via this route, you need to have a LL. M. and then appear for the CLAT exam. Based on your CLAT score, you can apply for a position as an assistant law officer or legal advisory at PSU. The top PSUs include BHEL, IOCL, PGCIL, etc.
