Hello Rashida, The UGC NET exam is a national level exam which is held for the selection of candidates for assistant professor posts and junior research fellowship programme in research, The NTA is the conducting agency of UGC NET exam and it is organized twice a year. No, you can't go for SSB directly for NDA. However, if you have physics, chemistry and maths, you can go for TES [technical entry scheme]. In TES, you directly go for SSB and if you manage to get into the final merit list, you get a call letter for IMA.

No, it is not necessary for you to qualify for both the exams. You just have to qualify one of them and then you will be called for your SSB interview. People mostly fill up for both of them for being on the safe side so that if they didn't pass out in the first one then, they could go for the second one because by the time the result of the first one is out, the registration dates for the first one is already over.
