
There is only one paper in the TNPSC Combined Civil Service Group 4 exam. The candidates must perform in this paper to get selected for the TNPSC Group 4 post as notified in the official notification. The first and foremost thing to do is to read and analyse the previous year's question papers. TNPSC question paper gave a clear understanding of the demand for the exam. The candidates should prepare the TNPSC Preparation plan based on the demand for the exam and their strengths and weaknesses. The candidates should start with the newspaper and monthly competitive magazines. The daily notes preparation of the factual information given in the newspapers is a must for the TNPSC Group 4 preparation. The candidates need to prepare all the topics as given in the official TNPSC Group 4 notification. The names of the topics are mentioned in the official syllabus but the name of the topic does not explain the efforts required to prepare the topic. The candidates need to prepare all the topics of the TNPSC Group syllabus separately so that they can score better even when the paper is balanced one or skewed towards one section.
The candidates are suggested to prepare all the topics mentioned in the official TNPSC Group 4 syllabus along with their inter-relationships. The candidates are also suggested to prepare in the Tamil Language because though it is qualifying only but some candidates even do not qualify this paper. Current Affairs play an important role in the preparation.
Apart from the above, the candidates must prepare the Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning for the TNPSC Group 4 exam. The total marks depend on all the sections given in the TNPSC Group 4 syllabus. The candidates need to prepare the QA and LR by understanding the fundamental concepts and formulae and practising them regularly.
