2. Short Service Commission SSC conducted by Services Selection Board (SSB)
Selection for short service commission is through the Services Selection Board (SSB) and there is no written exam for this entry as on date. BA graduates do plenty of things with their lives:
1. They appear for government jobs: Banking jobs, SSC Railway and even civil services. They appear for almost every exam.
2. They go for Law (LLB): Many want to become a lawyer. Humanities study give them edge also. Many lawyers and judges have arts background before law.
3. Some also go for MBA: Arts background students have edge in CAT exams as IIMs looking for diversity. Many arts students try management also mostly in Marketing and HR which are less quant heavy.
