If you need to become a commissioner or anywhere near that position. I would suggest you take up UPSC exams like IAS, IPS and many India exams are eligible to be a commissioner.

You can try for civil services exam, bank exams, Indian engineering services, etc. All of these have better value than other exams.

Hi Arti,
Women can only apply for OTA through the CDS exam. As such, there is no restriction on the number of attempts for CDS examination and you can apply twice a year as per your age eligibility. The age limit under OTA is as follows:
OTA: 19-25 Years

Hi Anshul,
Even though the exam to be undertaken is popularly known as IAS exam, it is officially called UPSC civil services exam. The UPSC CSE consists of 3 stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Getting into Indian Administrative Service is not easy considering the competition involved, but not impossible for a candidate with right attitude and approach.

You need to appear for state civil services to become an SDM. Every state has a different examination process and pattern. Please mention the name of State for which you want to apply for this post so that more details can be given.

Yes, to write any exams related to UPSC the basic qualification should be a Bachelor's degree. You can apply after the course completion and if your lucky one you would definitely get through the exams to be one IPS officer. All the best.
