Yes, you can apply for IAS and IPS exam if you have completed your graduation degree from the recognized university. The age should be between 21 and 30 years.
Age relaxation:
For OBC: 3 years
For SC/ST: 5 years
You must be a citizen of India.

Hi Smit,
The government of Gujarat had started Study Center for Civil Services Examination in 1992 named SPIPA. This organization teaches students who want to join Civil Services (IAS / IPS / IFS / and other Group 1 - 2 services).
Candidates must pass the entrance exam to join this study center. SPIPA announce this entrance test on May or June month of every year.
Eligibility criteria for admission at SPIPA
Educational Qualification: Graduate
Age limit: 21 to 30 (General), 21 to 33 (SEBC), 21 to 35 (SC/ST)
Mother Tongue: Gujarati
Coaching Fee:
Library deposit: Rs. 2,200
Training deposit: Rs. 1,000

Hi Ak,
There is no particular course which can help you crack the UPSC, SSC or any government examination. At max, it can help you in some section of the competitive examination. The subjects of BA such as history, geography, political science can help you in the general studies section of the examination. Further, you can also opt for that honours course which you are planning to take as an optional subject in the civil services examination.

Mostly Army men are hired for administrative work and also for HR related thing. A 1 year PG Diploma is good, however, an MBA will be a better option. More than degree, your experience will be valued in the corporate.

The starting salary of a Naval officer comes under Pay Band-3/15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.6000 and Military pay of Rs.6000. Though these numbers have been changed after 7th PC, for which you follow the official Indian Navy site.
