Yes, you would have to submit your GRE scores to increase chances of acceptance for the MS in Computer Science at the CWRU. It is considered beneficial if you have a UG in a computer-related field from a recognised university, and submit documents like academic transcripts, LOR, a purpose statement, and an updated CV are also crucial to increase the chances of selection.

If the GRE is waived, you must submit academic transcripts, degree certificates, resume, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, admission essays, and English proficiency scores. With one component waived, competition may increase, so submitting a GRE score voluntarily can still strengthen your application.

The University of California San Francisco provides a test option for GRE scores for graduate students. This means it is not necessary to submit the scores. However, some graduate programs require a GRE score just for the sake of an eligibility factor. Students can take the GRE multiple times and update their best scores to their application records. The applicant also uses their standardized test score to compensate for their academic GPA. In addition, students must make sure that they focus on other mandatory things, such as extracurricular activities, relevant experience, and more, along with aiming for high scores.

A few programs may require GRE/GMAT scores but submitting an English language score including IELTS, TOEFL or MET is mandatory.
