Data Interpretation, Probability, and Combinatorics (permutations and combinations) are some of the challenging topics for GRE test takers. Other than this, word problems such as work/rate or ratio questions and coordinate geometry questions can also be tough.
Focusing on regular practice on these topics and reviewing their concepts can help boost your overall Quant score.

Yes, you are allowed to use a calculator for the GRE Quant section during exam. The calculator will appear on the test screen (No additional calculator). You cannot bring your own calculator to the exam center or use a physical calculator. The on-screen calculator includes basic functions, which will help you avoid calculation mistakes.

You don't need a GMAT waiver if submitting the GRE score. The university will review your GRE score as equivalent for MBA admissions, unless otherwise specified by the program. In short, you need to submit score of any one exam, if the university accepts both.

For admission abroad after BTech, most universities require a mix of entrance and language tests. There is not a single exam which you can appear.
- GRE/GMAT are common for MS, MEng, or MBA programs (especially in the US, some EU countries).
- For English proficiency, IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo or PTE are widely accepted.
- Some countries (e.g., Germany) may also require TestAS or proof of local language basics.
