There is no issue or effect in appearing GRE exam, due to your gap year. The Graduation Record Examinations have nothing to do with your gap year. However,   your university may decline your admission to a selected course. You need to check with the university itself.

No, you need to carry a valid passport at the GRE test centre. It is the one and only mandatory document for Indian students to take the exam. So, if your passport is expired or under renewal, then wait till you get the passport.

There is no any restriction or any specific eligibility to take the Graduate Record Examinations. Students of any age from any country can take the exam. So, no matter you are an Indian student or any other country, you can take the exam.

If the test centre cancels your GRE booking, then you will get a 100% refund or a free reschedule from ETS. They will inform you about this on your Email.  Check your email for options and act quickly to secure a new preferred date.

CSU Colorado State does not require GRE for admission to Master of Computer Engineering degree. This degree can be completed in two years. To take admission to this degree, students require a Bachelor of Science degree from a regionally accredited institution in a closely related field which includes coursework in Calculus 3.0 GPA on all undergraduate coursework.

There are two sub sections in GRE Quantitative Reasoning sections, and you will have 47 minutes to solve 27 questions. It's important to manage your time well, pacing yourself so you have a chance to attempt every question and save a couple of minutes to review your flagged items.

Data Interpretation, Probability, and Combinatorics (permutations and combinations) are some of the challenging topics for GRE test takers. Other than this, word problems such as work/rate or ratio questions and coordinate geometry questions can also be tough.

Focusing on regular practice on these topics and reviewing their concepts can help boost your overall Quant score.

Yes, you are allowed to use a calculator for the GRE Quant section during exam. The calculator will appear on the test screen (No additional calculator). You cannot bring your own calculator to the exam center or use a physical calculator. The on-screen calculator includes basic functions, which will help you avoid calculation mistakes.
