Yes. Many universities now offer merit-based scholarships based on your UG GPA, research papers, and internships.

Some specific fellowships still require GRE, most modern programs focus on your overall professional and academic profile.

No. Visa officers focus on your university admission letter and financial stability. If a top-tier university has waived the GRE and granted you admission, the visa office will accept that decision without requiring a separate test score.

GRE optional means the university will review your application with or without scores.

You should submit them if your score is 320+ in GRE. It can offset a lower GPA.

Yes, but be careful! Types of questions in Math and Verbal are the same as before.

GRE exam is much shorter and has no experimental section. You should only use older papers to practice specific topics, not to time your full-length mock tests.

Yes. In India, a valid original Passport is only primary identification document accepted by ETS.

You will not be allowed to enter the GRE test center or start the "At Home" edition with any other government ID. Ensure your passport is not expired.

Indian students don't need to take the GRE or GMAT to study at the Carolina Uni in North Carolina. The university takes an holistic approach to admit students.

This means Indian students with strong academics and prior work experience can get in based on these factors alone.
