You don't need a GMAT waiver if submitting the GRE score. The university will review your GRE score as equivalent for MBA admissions, unless otherwise specified by the program. In short, you need to submit score of any one exam, if the university accepts both.

For admission abroad after BTech, most universities require a mix of entrance and language tests. There is not a single exam which you can appear.
- GRE/GMAT are common for MS, MEng, or MBA programs (especially in the US, some EU countries).
- For English proficiency, IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo or PTE are widely accepted.
- Some countries (e.g., Germany) may also require TestAS or proof of local language basics.

You can book your GRE test slot as soon as registration opens. You need to create or login to your MyETS account. GRE slots are available year-round but are subject to test center availability. In short early booking is recommended for popular dates and cities.

Yes, you can retake the GRE once every 21 days, up to five times within any 12-month (365 days) period. ETS will send only the scores you choose to institutions. This will give you more control over which scores are shared.

A GRE Analytical Writing score of 4.5 or above (out of 6) is considered high. This shows your strong critical thinking and writing skills. A high score in the AWA section means you can present your views effectively.
