For BTech admission at Guru Nanak Dev University, it is mandatory to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate. The total course fee for the BTech course at GNDU ranges between INR 4.7 lakh and INR 10.3 lakh. However, for some of the other undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Guru Nanak Dev University admits students on the basis of merit.

BITS Pilani CSE (Computer Science Engineering) fees are Rs 19.19 Lacs for four years. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology fees for B.Tech CSE is Rs 16.56 Lacs for four years. Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Amritsar fees for B.Tech CSE is Rs 2.5 Lacs for four years. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

1. Branch preference: If you are interested in core engineering fields like IPE, TT, CE, or BT, then NIT Jalandhar may be a good option for you. However, if you are more interested in Computer Science and programming, then CSE at GNDU may be a better fit.
2. Institute preference: If getting a degree from an NIT is important to you, then you may want to choose NIT Jalandhar over GNDU Amritsar.
