Candidates after B.Ed in Special Education from GNDU can work as a special educator in CBSE/PSEB schools and as a teacher in special schools who handle students with multiple disabilities. Admission to GNDU B.Ed courses is through an entrance examination conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Candidates have to take this exam and secure a good score to take admission. The university may release a merit list to declare names of the selected candidates. Additionally, it is important that the aspirant fulfils the eligibility requirements. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the GNDU official website.

It is crucial that each of the aspirant for B.Ed at GNDU meet the required eligibility requirements. Thus, the applicant must hold a valid Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate or Master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate. Applicant must also has the original and copies of these documents during form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University offers a two-year full-time B.Ed course. The programme is offered through the university Department of Education. Admission to the course is offered based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university. Moreover, to be eligible for admission to this course, a candidate must hold either a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate or Master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate.

GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the courses is based on candidates performance in the Hence, the university does not offer direct admission. Aspirants can further reach out to the university admission office to get more details related to direct admission.

GNDU admission process began with online registrations from May 8. The last date to apply varied from one course to another. The last date to apply for MBA programmes was Jul 11. Furthermore, JEE Main 2024 application process is expected to begin in December 2023. Candidates can further visit the GNDU official website for admission dates schedule or event updates.
