The cutoff marks of Guwahati University vary from course to course. The university has provided minimum qualifying cutoff marks for admission to a majority of courses offered by Guwahati University. Candidates must have at least 45 percent aggregate in their UG programme to become eligible for the PG programme. For the M.Tech programme, candidates must have secured at least 50 percent aggregate and for MEd and Integrated MSc-PhD, students just need a relevant UG degree to be eligible.

Candidates, who have applied for various PG and Integrated programmes can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online on this page or on the official website of Guwahati University. 

  1. Visit the official website of Guwahati University (gauhati.ac.in).
  2. Click on the ‘Admissions’ Tab.
  3. On the next page, click on the Rank List tab and select from the drop-down, the course applied for.
  4. On clicking the Programme menu will open to display the detailed merit list in PDF format.

It depends on the college you are studing, some colleges allow students to chose from the remaining subject whereas some are fixed as the college does not have any other subjects.
