MIT and Harvard are among the toughest universities in the world to get into. If we compared them in terms of their acceptance rate -The

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology acceptance rate is 4.25%
  • Harvard University acceptance rate is 3.63%.

This clearly shows that admissions at both universities are highly competitive, but Harvard is comparatively harder to get into than MIT.

International students can receive the same type of financial aid as American students at Harvard. The university bases aid awards on need, not on merit. This means that financial aid supports the students who are going to benefit from it the most. Moreover, the university meets 100% of the student's demonstrated financial needs. Some of other scholarships offered by the university to international students are given below:

  • Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship
  • Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship
  • The Robert S. Kaplan (MBA 1983) Life Sciences Fellowship
