Indian students who want to get into the LLM course at Harvard must meet the entry requirements-

  • A J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an ABA-approved US law school or a first law degree (J.D., LLB or the equivalent) from a law school
  • Usually, to study LLM from Harvard, no work experience or further study beyond law school is needed. However, the applicants with two or more years of work experience have a better sense of what they hope to accomplish during the LLM program
  • TOEFL test score

Brown University and Harvard University are top universities in US. Both of these universities have low acceptance rates. As per US News and World Report Brown University acceptance rate is 6% and acceptance rate of Harvard University is 4%. They both demand high GPAs and high test score from their applicants.
