As per the latest report, IIIT Sonepat recorded 59.6% of the IT branch students were placed in 2024 placement drive at IIIT Sonepat. The highest and average package offered to IT students during IIIT Sonepat placements in 2024 was INR 40 LPA and INR 17.87 LPA,  respectively. The key highlights of IIIT Sonepat IT placements for the Class of 2023 and 2024 are tabulated below:

The Jagannath University the highest package is yet to be released officially. However, the median package has been released. During 2022 placements, the highest median package stood at INR 4.15 LPA and was offered to PG (2-year) students. To know the course-wise median package for 2022 take a look at the below table:

Candidates who have a valid score at national or university-level entrance exam scores: SRMJEEE/ SRMHCAT/ JEE Main/ SAT/ IPU CET can apply to the BTech at SRM Sonepat. BTech is a four-year course offered in ten specialisations, including Computer Science, Civil, Biomedical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, etc. 

To take Admission in SRM Sonepat for BTech programme, you must qualify the entrance exam and complete the enitre admission process which consist of multiple steps, including application process, entrance exam, interview/counselling, etc. Also candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility: Twelve years of school education with 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.

Selection criteria: SRMJEEE/ SRMHCAT/ JEE Main/ SAT/ IPU CET

SRM University Sonepat Admission to its BTech programme is strictly based on the entrance exams. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.

SRM University, Sonepat is recognised by the UGC and ALU and is approved by the BCI, DSIR, and NCHMCT. The university is also a member ACU. SRM University, Sonepat offers a wide range of UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes. The University offers four years BTech programme across ten spcialisations with a choice-based credit system.
