Make that the course is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or other relevant agencies if you have been accepted into a BBA in Hospital Management programme at a government university that is not AICTE-approved.
For management courses, AICTE certification is not necessarily necessary, but UGC recognition guarantees the degree's legitimacy. If the course is not accepted, you can run into problems getting a job or going to college. For more information, get in touch with the university administration, and if necessary, think about switching to an accredited program.

The selection criteria for the course is Merit + PI/GD, Qualification Test. Selection is based on a combination of such factors as Academic credentials, Management Admission Test score, Performance in Personal Interview (PI), Demonstrated interest in the healthcare management, Communication skills etc. Candidates are required to bring original documents for verification at the time of PI.
Aspirants are shortlisted for admission are invited for PI at Hyderabad. More Centres for holding the selection process might also be considered, based on need.
