What is UGAT Exam?
AIMA Undergraduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a common entrance exam for admission to undergraduate programmes such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA and BHM and other courses. UGAT exam is conducted in a paper-based test mode by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the UGAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the UGAT exam is as follows:
- Candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate at Class 12 level
- There is no age bar. Candidates of any age can appear for the exam.
- Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled.

No, the UGAT exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the UGAT exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. Candidates can choose upto five UGAT test cities according to their preference.
