Oberoi STEP 2026: The online application form to apply for Oberoi Group of Hotel’s Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) will be made available soon. Candidates interested in the Oberoi Systematic Training and Education Programme can visit the official website - www.oberoigroup.com/learning-programmes/step for admission process. The Assessments and interviews will be held in April and May. STEP 2026 result will be then released in June-July, 2026. Oberoi STEP details like assessment and interview, application, and selection process details are shared with the registered candidates only.

What is Oberoi STEP?

The Oberoi Group of Hotel’s Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) conducts interviews in order to shortlist interested candidates for hospitality management programmes offered by the institute. Based on an aspirant’s performance in the admission process of Oberoi STEP, he/she can secure admission in courses on offer at Oberoi STEP 2026 which are as mentioned below:

The hotel among The Oberoi Group of Hotels that will be assigned to candidates for STEP programme will be at the sole discretion of OCLD.

Oberoi OCLD programme is being hosted by: The Oberoi Bangalore, The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur; Trident Gurgaon; The Oberoi Gurgaon; Trident Agra; Trident Jaipur; The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur; Trident Chennai and Trident Udaipur.Practical training in courses offered at Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD) is offered at The Oberoi Group of Hotels. Also, when candidates complete the programmes offered at Oberoi STEP 2025 they are awarded Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and a Certificate of Proficiency from The Oberoi Group.

Oberoi STEP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fill Oberoi STEP application form online on the official website of Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development once released. As part of Oberoi STEP application process candidates need to fill in their educational qualifications, and select their interview venue and date in the application form. Aspirants do not need to pay any Oberoi STEP exam application fee while filling the registration form for the interview round for OCLD admissions.

Step 2: Appear for Oberoi STEP Interview

In order to be shortlisted for admission in programmes offered at Oberoi STEP, candidates do not need to give any written entrance exam but need to appear for an interview round.

Step 3: Check Oberoi STEP Result

Oberoi STEP Interview Round 2026

Oberoi STEP interview round is conducted in three steps. Candidates can go through the three rounds for Oberoi STEP 2026 admissions as mentioned below:

Round 1	In the first round of Oberoi STEP interview process, candidates are divided into groups of 15-20 aspirants each. Here, candidates need to perform many activities as well as attempt different questionnaires.	Candidates are evaluated on the basis of criteria such as grooming, poise and spoken English.
Round 2	Candidates who are shortlisted in Round 1 of the Oberoi interview process are eligible to appear for Round 2 of the interview process. In this round, candidates have to appear before a panel comprising of faculty members wherein a one-on-one meeting is held.	Candidates are evaluated on the basis of their behavior, personality and it is also checked if the candidate has aptitude for hospitality.
Round 2	Candidates who are shortlisted in Round 2 are further eligible to appear for the next interview round in the selection process for Oberoi STEP. In this round, candidates need to appear for another round of activities and attempt some questionnaires. This also includes a final interview with a panel. However, this Oberoi interview round may be conducted on a different day as well as city as against Round 1 and Round 2.	Aspirants are evaluated on an overall basis, that is, on the basis of their personality, knowledge, behaviour and skill-set.

STEP (Systematic Training and Education Programme) is a three-year programme for students who are between 18 to 20 years of age and have completed or are about to complete class XII. STEP offers comprehensive on the job training in Kitchen operations or hotel operations (Front Office / Food and Beverage Service focus and Housekeeping focus) at selected hotels of The Oberoi Group. Alongside training, STEP also facilitates education through a correspondence Bachelor's degree in Tourism Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Upon completion of STEP including the undergraduate studies from IGNOU, you are eligible to join The Oberoi Centre of Learning and development OCLD or Oberoi Central Employment Register OCER. The application process for STEP begins in February each year. STEP takes admission through Group Discussion and Personal Interview only. There is no entrance exam for STEP. Therefore, for STEP, you need to just work on your communication skills and prepare the current affairs well. Oberoi STEP 2026 Exam Centres
