ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh is pretty good for B.Tech because it offers AICTE approved programs-under CSE and Civil engineering. The placement percentage ranges around 50-60%-with package ranging between 3-5 lacs with companies like Infosys and Wipro being the recruiters.
The students who have passed out say that the faculty here is better than 3.5 out of 5 but say that the infrastructure is not at par with NIT Hamirpur. Fees are reasonable-again, around 4 lakh-which perfectly suits local students, although not the best.
