Candidates need to fulfil the merit requriements to get a seat in HGPI. The institute accepts national or state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, HPCET, HPU MAT, CAT, MAT, etc. for admission to a few courses. For most of the courses, selection is merit-based. To be eligibility for admission to BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at Central University of Himachal Pradesh, the candidate must have passed 10+2 any stream or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/ national level with the mentioned marks from a recognized board.
