The UGC has recognised Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan, which was founded in 2009. Almost 37 courses are available at the college in 7 streams. Admissions is based on merit as per the grades/marks obtained in qualifying examination, provided the student meets the eligibility requirements.you can get direct admission, but the candidates should have passed with minimum 50% marks in 12 Examination with at least five subjects from a recognised Board or University. The main exam accepted for MBA course is MAT . It is the best college in this region in terms of quality placements in companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Deloit

The eligibility Ceritria for B.Sc admission in Institute of hotel management shimla is:
A pass out in 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject and other subject is required to apply for both the courses. Admission to B.Sc is done through an NCHM JEE entrance exam. Admission to Diploma courses students is based on merit secured in the qualifying examination and than PI or interview.
