Central University of Himachal Pradesh BA admission dates are already out for 2024. For BA admission 2024, CUET 2204 dates were important as admission to the UG level at CHUP were subject to a valid scores in the CUET eaxams. In 2024, the registrations for CUET-UG 2024 started in February and continued till April 2024. The BA admission 2024 merit lists are out now. The BA registration was conducted on August 22, 2024. The regular class will be commenced on August 22, 2024, tentatively. 

To apply for the Central University of Himachal Pradesh BA course candidates must appear for the CUET exam. Once the CUET exam results are out, candidates are required to register on the official website of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates can follow the steps to apply for the BSc course:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.

Step 2: Click on the course, candidates want to apply in.

Step 3: Now click Apply, and an online registration form will appear.

Step 4: Fill out the online application form with all the required details.

CUHP offers BA course across two specialisations. These are Shastri and Sanskrit. The UG-level programme is an honors degree progarmme lasting three years. The BA (Hons) is spread across six semesters. Candidates who have qualified the eligibility criteria for the BA course and have secured a valid score in the national-level exam CUET are eligible to apply for CUHP BA admission. 

Eligibility criteria: Class 12 with a minimum of 50% Marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised school board.

Once the merit lists are released, candidates are called for registration and verification of academic qualifications/documents. Students are required to pay the BA fee once the verification is confirmed. The CHUP fees might include multiple other fee components. Tabulated below is the fee structure of the BA course:

For admission to UG courses at CUHP, students need to fulfil a basic eligibility criteria. Thus, an applicant must be a Class 12 pass with respective subjects from a recognised board to be eligible. Merit list has been released by the university for candidates who qualify for the cut-off. As per Central University of Himachal Pradesh cutoff 2023,   closing score of round 1 for B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit is 62, for Shastri it (Hons.) in Physics is 360.53, which is the highest score of all the specialisations and for Shastri it is 32 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota. 

For admission to BSc at CUHP, students need to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidate must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Chemistry + Biology /Biological Studies / Biotechnology Or

Combination II: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics merit will be based on the ‘best CUET score’ obtained in any of the above-mentioned combination of subjects. The candidate must obtain a minimum of 30% marks insection I of CUET
