Central University of Himachal Pradesh BA admission dates are already out for 2024. For BA admission 2024, CUET 2204 dates were important as admission to the UG level at CHUP were subject to a valid scores in the CUET eaxams. In 2024, the registrations for CUET-UG 2024 started in February and continued till April 2024. The BA admission 2024 merit lists are out now. The BA registration was conducted on August 22, 2024. The regular class will be commenced on August 22, 2024, tentatively.
CUHP offers BA course across two specialisations. These are Shastri and Sanskrit. The UG-level programme is an honors degree progarmme lasting three years. The BA (Hons) is spread across six semesters. Candidates who have qualified the eligibility criteria for the BA course and have secured a valid score in the national-level exam CUET are eligible to apply for CUHP BA admission.
Eligibility criteria: Class 12 with a minimum of 50% Marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised school board.
The Central University of Himachal Pradesh offers admission to various UG courses based on CUET UG scores followed by round-wise counselling. The university releases the merit lists for candidates who qualify for the cutoff. I all the hostels mess food covers all the variety from North to authentic Quizines of the Himachal pradesh too.Although we often quiet miss the taste that we are habitual for our home cooked food but on course of academics it can be neglected. A student run mess is present in the hostel compound and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. The mess offers a healthy mix of different Indian tastes originating from different States. Mess affairs are being taken care by Mess Secretary who is elected by the students. S/he is responsible for the smooth functioning of the mess including the assurance of the overall quality of the food and cleanliness of the highest order.
Mess also serves as the common room for the students and the TV installed there caters to the recreational needs of students
For admission to UG courses at CUHP, students need to fulfil a basic eligibility criteria. Thus, an applicant must be a Class 12 pass with respective subjects from a recognised board to be eligible. For admission to BSc at CUHP, students need to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidate must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:
Combination I: Physics + Chemistry + Biology /Biological Studies / Biotechnology Or
Combination II: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics merit will be based on the ‘best CUET score’ obtained in any of the above-mentioned combination of subjects. The candidate must obtain a minimum of 30% marks insection I of CUET
