Hindi Diploma course: It requires minimum of 45% marks in any stream in Class 12
Hindi UG course: It requires minimum 50% marks in any stream in Class 12 or equivalent
Hindi PG course: It requires a minimum of 50% marks in graduation in any discipline
Hindi PhD course: It requires a minimum of 50% marks in a master's degree in any discipline.

Yes, those who have completed BTech can apply for BA Hindi. Since, BA Hindi is an undergraduate course one can secure admission in the course through marks secured in Class 12 or equivalent qualification.
Suggestion: Those who wish to pursue a career related to the Hindi language after pursuing BTech or any other graduation can directly apply for MA Hindi. It is not necessary to pursue BA Hindi before MA Hindi. As per the latest guidelines of UGC, BTech graduates can also apply for PhD course.

Yes IGNOU offers a BA Hindi course in distance learning mode. It is offered by the School of Social Sciences of the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The course can be completed in a duration 3 years. It caters to a wider range of students as the course is provided in English as well as Hindi medium. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 13,500. There is no prescribed maximum or minimum age limit to pursue this course.

When you pursue BA in Hindi medium then you will be studying BA with a specialisation such as History, Geography, Philosophy etc. in Hindi language. Your textbooks for the course, medium of instructions will be in Hindi language. You will also write semester exams in Hindi medium. But when you pursue BA in Hindi or BA in Hindi Literature your specialisation is Hindi language. You will study Hindi Literature as well s history and applications of the language. So, BA in Hindi and BA in some specialisation in Hindi medium are different courses.
