There are so many government exam options once you complete a BA program, either in Hindi or any other subject. Among which, Civil Services, SSC, and state-level PSCs exams are the most popular. Apart from these, you can also prepare for banking, railway recruitment board, or defense exams, as they are comparatively less challenging.

The following are the minimum qualifying requirements for candidates who want to pursue this course:

- Most institutions demand a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 exams. To be eligible for this programme, students must have a combined percentage of 45%.

With 98 marks in CUET, you can opt for a number of colleges for a B.A. in Hindi, particularly under Delhi University. Some of the options are Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, which has a B.A. course with Hindi, Gargi College, which is famous for its academic excellence and women empowerment, and Indraprastha College for Women, which is a renowned college with a number of B.A. courses, including Hindi. These colleges tend to have competitive cut-offs, and hence it is better to verify the recent admission rules and cut-off trends for the best results.

For admission to a BHU BA (Hons) course, aspirants need to complete the CUET-UG application process. NTA carries out the registrations in online mode. Eligible students can visit NTA CUET 2023 website to apply.

Yes, those who have completed BTech can apply for BA Hindi. Since, BA Hindi is an undergraduate course one can secure admission in the course through marks secured in Class 12 or equivalent qualification.
Suggestion: Those who wish to pursue a career related to the Hindi language after pursuing BTech or any other graduation can directly apply for MA Hindi. It is not necessary to pursue BA Hindi before MA Hindi. As per the latest guidelines of UGC, BTech graduates can also apply for PhD course.

Yes IGNOU offers a BA Hindi course in distance learning mode. It is offered by the School of Social Sciences of the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The course can be completed in a duration 3 years. It caters to a wider range of students as the course is provided in English as well as Hindi medium. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 13,500. There is no prescribed maximum or minimum age limit to pursue this course.
