IHM Guwahati offers admission to BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration based on NCHMCT JEE score. The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam accepted for selection to the BSc HHA courses. Candidates can visit NTA official website to apply. After the entrance exam, results are announced by the authorities. The candidates fulfilling the cutoff criteria are required to register for NCHMCT JEE counselling. During this procedure, document verification and seat allotment is done.

However, IHMCT Pune has been ranked #32 in the Hotel/Hospitality Management category by India Today. According to the report, the exact ranking of the BSc programme at IHMCT Pune has not been revealed yet. However, in 2023, Outlook ranked IHMCT Pune at #10 in the field of Hospitality and Travel.
