The selection for MSc programme is based on merit of the aspirants in the qualifying exam. Selected candidates need to further pass a personal interview round for admission. Recent years NIMAS has very good placements for hotel management. The highest package offered was 5 LPA and average package is 4.5 LPA. The college maintained good relationship with several prominent hotels like JW Marriott, ITC hotels which provides internship and job opportunities for candidates. There doesn't seem to be any ranking by the Council of Education and Development Programmes (CEDP) for Hospitality Management at all, neither is there any ranking globally that can be found that includes the institution. The most known rankings are mainly of the countries like Switzerland, the UK, and the US; Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne from Switzerland and Cornell University in the US always top hospitality education.
