The university determines the selection procedure for B.Sc. students. So the different universities have different selection processes.

To get admitted into B.Sc., candidates must have at least 80 to 85 percentile in NCHMCT JEE  for  selection  into top institutes.

The steps involved in the selection process are as follows:

Selection process:-

Entrance Exam:-  Candidates need to pass their Class 12 Science stream with 50% marks. But if the candidate is from the SC/ST category, then they can apply with 45% marks.

Selection on merit :-The selection is based on marks obtained by  candidate in  NCHMCT JEE. having a good score is benificial for  getting admission into a top college.

Both the IIHM Kolkata and the ISHM Kolkata are reputable BHM institutions, each with its own set of strengths. The Economic Times has recognised IIHM Kolkata, which has international collaborations with prestigious universities all over the world. It provides a Certificate in Wine Studies and has a good placement record. ISHM Kolkata, on the other hand, has international collaborations with Thai institutions and positive student feedback on teaching quality and industry readiness. Consider personal preferences, career goals, and programme specifics when choosing between the two. Visiting the institutions and speaking with current students or faculty may provide useful information. Individual priorities ultimately determine the choice.

Depending on the program, different fees apply for postgraduate courses at the SRM Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM). Most postgraduate programs have annual tuition fees of about INR 1.2 lakhs. Studying a postgraduate programme at SRM IHM will set you back about INR 2-3 Lacs total.

A range of entrance exam results are accepted by the SRM Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM) for admission to its undergraduate and graduate programs.
