Hotel management is a course in which you learn about all the operational as well as non operational departments of the hotel. Core subjects are:
Food production in this you'll learn about all cuisines an how to prepare them with perfection. Dear Rocky, Yes, you can take admission to the B.Sc. (Lateral) in Hotel Management in various universities. Being alumni of LPU I will share the eligibility of this programme at LPU with you. To get admission at LPU, you should have passed with 50% aggregate marks in Diploma (Hotel Management) [ (3 years after 10th ) or (2 years/ 1 year after 10+2)] or equivalent. Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through the most modern gazettes. We have a few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage.
