Dr. D.Y. patil institute of hotel management and catering technology provides both boys' and girls' hostel facilities. Hostel fees for both are INR 40,000 annual. The hostel is separated for boys and girls in campus.

They provide sports, wifi, trips, entertainment Room and television, etc.

The seat reservations at DDPIHMCT are as follows 

Only Maharashtra candidates are eligible to apply under the reserved category quota. A minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 is required of such candidates for admission purposes B.Sc. HS candidates are selected on the basis of HSC merit.

Reservation is provided as per norms set by Govt. of Maharashtra and DTE, Maharashtra.

The starting CTC is in the range of INR 15,000 per month to INR 20,000 per month. After graduation, student can start a career as management trainee and after 18 months of training programme, the candidate can get the position of assistant restaurant manager and can earn upto INR 25,000 per month.
