Both of them have the same meaning. One national exam for the same is NCHMCT JEE exams, which is conducted by the central government. You will have a lot of value if you go through these exams, as it will help you fetch the right institution in the later date. Though, not all the institutions in India which have hotel management as a course come under NCHMCT JEE, there are colleges which accept direct admissions without Entrance exams.

Doing Culinary Arts through Diploma or Craft Courses is suggested over BHM degree. You have many colleges in Bangalore over India providing you Diploma courses in Culinary Arts. It will help you specialize only in Culinary, and will help you grow. It is suggested for passionate chef to choose this. Later stage, you can go on to complete an MBA to have managerial skills to grow in the industry. MBA can be for working professionals so you can see a significant growth in your career.

If you wish to know about the eligibility criteria, then please read below.
To apply for LLB (Hons) course, candidates should have passed any degree (BA/BSc/B.Com/BBA/ BE/B.Tech/MBBS/B.Pharm/other graduates in general) and should have secured not less than 60% of the total marks in the aggregate. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities should have secured not less than 55% of the total marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
