Hotel and hospitality industry is a fast growing sector and contribute about 9% in employment. In 2015, it was contributing 6.9% to our country's GDP and expected to be contributed 7.5% by 2025. Today, Hotel Management is not only restricted to hotels but has gone a long way to catering, clubs, food and beverage industry, resorts, airlines, cruise and many more. The hotel management forms a big part of the tourism, and the government too is in favor of investing in it and supporting it in every way possible. One may be expected to work in the following departments, i.e. management, housekeeping, hospitality, front office operations, marketing and sales, accounts etc. So in my opinion it is a good option because the placement of all IHMs are about 100%. So if interested than participate in NCHMCT JEE-2019 for admission in B.Sc (HHA). Good Luck.
