Generally, entrance test is conducted for undergraduate degree. There are many entrance exams like AIHMCT WAT, BVP CET, DTE Hotel Management & Catering Technology Entrance Exam (DTE HMCT), NCHMCT JEE and Oberoi STEP.

If you have passed the CAT exam, you can probably go for any stream in MBA. CAT is the entrance exam, it can lead you to higher knowledge and intellectuals, whereas, MBA is the platform where you can learn managing the practical aspects. You can definitely go with the streams you prefer and the ones are of your interest.

Dear Simra, you can go for Hotel Management course. For admission to a course in hotel and catering management there is NCHM JEE. The test was on Apr.28, 2018. Other than this there are some university specific tests conducted by various universities. Some universities also offer direct admission on the basis of your marks in previous qualifying exam. There are some good universities like Lovely Professional University, Christ, Symbiosis, etc. That are offering various degrees in hotel and catering management. Hi, Admission to all the courses offered at Amity University is granted through an English Essay test conducted by the University. Once the entrance test has been cleared, the candidate needs to clear an interview round/group discussion round (depending on course selection).
