Hi, IHM-Gangtok is not good considering the placements and exposure. It is no where in front of the top IHMs such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc. Some good private IHMs are -
International Institute Of Hotel Management
Christ University
Rizvi College Of hotel management, Mumbai
IP University
IHM Aurangabad

Hi,
Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management is a 4-year full-time undergraduate course divided into 8 semesters. The programme AIMS to build in eligible candidates a firm foundation in all facets of the tourism and hospitality industry. Every college is different and hence there admission criteria also varies. You can go for international institute of culinary arts (IICA) because IICA students are given a combination of classroom lectures & the best industrial exposure to ensure that each student gets the finest work opportunities upon completion of their course. So, in practical experiments, student get more knowledge. Here are the requirements for the same (IICA)
1) 12thPass with 60% avg. Percentage or higher
2) IICA Entrance Test (General Knowledge + English Language + Aptitude).

Hi, Every college is different and hence there admission criteria also varies. Do not lose your hope apply for the course in which you want to enroll, there are many colleges where the admission is based on entrance exam, counselling and personal interview. But you need to check the eligibility criteria of the college before applying and you can check the same on their website. Regards.

According to last year's cut-off, if you are a general category student then you can't as last year the last admitted rank was somewhere in 1300. But, you are SC/ST or OBC, then you can easily get it.
