Hospitality sector is one of the best sectors and also is one of those less likely to be affected by recession. You must know what a hotel manager does, the roles and responsibilities and if that is what you want then go for it.
Switzerland is one the best destinations with some of the top institutes for hotel management/hospitality programmes. USA, Australia and Europe are also some of the moist sought after. To get admission in Hotel Management course in top colleges you must focus on the basic percentage required in the HSC (as mentioned below) however your main focus should lie on the Entrance Exams ranking that will decide which top college you are eligible for.

Eligibility Criteria
Diploma: Class 10th pass from a recognized board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, E-CHAT etc.
