It depends on the type of catering, either it is a high - class catering or a local one. You can become successful by doing any course with full determination. If you want to be a good chef, contact hotels and gain more knowledge.

So, my suggestion would be to practice with basic knowledge from all the subject area will be helpful and you may need to follow 2 authors with latest edition books. You can use good online source for practice and few good author books. Remember to follow the exam announcement to know what would be the pattern this year.

1. You can opt for MBA from top Colleges (IIM, XL, Symbiosis, FMS etc.) - post MBA with Hotel Management will get you good career option to grow in hotel/related industry.
2. You can opt for PG/Masters in Tourism Management Full time for IITTM or distance from IGNOU while working with hotel industry and enriching your skills while working for good career growth
I hope this helps. Wish you all the best.

With the amount of work experience you have, you may pursue an Executive MBA. You may not find a Hotel Management Executive MBA. Though a bachelor's degree in business administration is not required, you must have an undergraduate degree. An executive MBA will cover topics necessary for working professionals to gain senior roles and you will have a better understanding of your organization and how it should function.
I hope it helps. Best of luck.
