The college is good for marketing in the first spot and finance at the second spot. If you want to take HR, it's fine but the college is not best for this particular specialization. The faculty depends on the strength of students taking HR as specialization as the faculty will be of visiting faculty to the campus. Coming to placements also HR stands in the third spot out of four which is not advisable.

There are many things which makes Christ different from other colleges. Christ is truly committed towards the development of the students and gives opportunity you need for this. But, it up to us to utilize these opportunities. There has been upward trend in the number of students opting for HR in our batch, and I should most of them are the ones with very high marks. Even the placements are pretty good this year.

Your chances are dicey. For better chances you must work on your visa application and have clarity over your career plans and intent of study. Just a tip, do not show any intent of immigration, your motive should be to study and come back to India and not permanent settlement there.

This decision depends on your interest areas and your career aspirations. Each area has ample scope from a career perspective. In case you intend to work in a corporate environment in HR then urban development makes more sense. If you want to work in an NGO then rural / child and family welfare makes sense.
