Not many opt for core HR as SDMIMD offers dual specialization. HR is taught and headed by some of the distinguished names in the industry.As far as the placements goes, there are a good number of companies offering jobs in talent acquisitions and other fields of HR.

Hii arunima, yes u can apply for any of the course here. We dont have HR as a specialisation, rather we have finance , retail and analytics.

There are no exact stats available for particularly hr placements.however as per what we get to hear in college the avg package of hr is less than that of marketing.approx the avg package for hr is 3-4 lakhs.

Maximum salary is 6.9L
Minimum is 3.5L
Average is 5L for HR.

You have got good chance utilise it.Welingkar is known for marketing and operations but HR is also good.

We have some of the best faculties for HR subjects. Also, the summer internships and placements in HR domain have been great. Some of the recruiters being apollo munich, Novartis, Genpact etc.

HR course was good and average package was 3.5 In ndim.

Tentative cut off for HR- 70, Finance / Marketing 60, IT- 50 for general category and for reserved it will be less in respective category.
GD/PI would start from 12th March. Places are- Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ranchi and New Delhi.

Hi, you have very high chances of getting a call. On the whole we as students are pretty satisfied with opportunities that we have in this college. As far as HR is concerned IMT-H does provide HR specialization and it is really good with very experienced faculty. Now it is upto you to weigh your options and take a call.
