Students having a Bachelor's degree in Arts or any other course are eligible to apply for MA provided they fulfill other requirements of the programme. The aspirants can further pursue  PhD in History after an MA History programme. PhD in Archives and Records Management is a specialized area of study that can be undertaken at a very few select universities and institutions.

The IILM University BA is generally completed over 3 to 4 years, spanning 6 to 8 semesters. It consists of a mix of core courses, electives, & experiential learning components. The university offers specialisations in Psychology, Journalism Media & Communication, Liberal Arts, Legal Studies, Film & News Media, & Corporate Communication & Public Affairs. 

Pantnagar University does not offer a BA with humanities.

To be eligible for the BA IILM University, students must have completed their Class 12 education from a recognised board or institution with a min. aggregate score of 50%. Admission to the BA is based on the CUET entrance examination. The eligibility req. must be thoroughly reviewed before commencing the application process. BA IILM University admission depends on meeting the eligibility requirements & the interview. The selection process has a combination of entrance examination & merit scores, followed by a PI round.

Candidates can be admitted to IILM University for a BA course by filling out the application form. They can apply online or visit the campus for walk-in admission. Selection is based on an entrance examination, & applicants must meet the academic eligibility requirement. Additionally, the students will need to present docs, like two sets of attested photocopies of the High School (Class 10) Mark sheet and Passing Certificate, as part of the admission process.
