There's no particular cut-off score required for B.A. The requirements for admission into B.A. differs from college to college. While some colleges accept CUET scores, some take their entrance tests separately. The CUET cut-off last year for good colleges at Delhi University around 700 and above. While this year, as the number of subjects has reduced the cut-off will also be lowered. The candidate needs to score well in their entrance exam according to the college's demand which can be found on their official websites.

Talking about the history of MGR Medical University, the need to have a separate Medical University in Tamilnadu exclusively to deal with medical education and research at Under graduate, Post graduate and Doctoral level was keenly felt for over a period of years and was under consideration of the State Government since 1980. The State Government appointed a High Level Committee consisting of Dr. A. Venugopal, Dr. M. Natarajan and Dr. S.
