The minimum eligibility criteria for MIT SICS BA course is as follows:
- Class 12 passed out students in any discipline and from any recognised board or Diploma (10 + 3) passed students from any recognised technical board with a minimum of 50% for general /open category candidates.
- 5% relaxation in case of backward class categories and a person with disability belonging to Maharashtra state candidates only.
- For Foreign students the Maharashtra State Government rules will be applicable.

PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Kottayam is a three year course at the Doctorate level. The total tuition fee for IIIT Kottayam Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering is INR 1.35 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a hostel fee of amount INR 88,200 that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. The application fee per department is INR 1,000 for the General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 500 for SC/ST/PWD/Female category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable.
