Of course, there are many Geography course options which you can opt for, without preparing for any entrance exams. Some colleges conduct or accept exam scores, while some offer merit-based admission. If you want to pursue a BA in Geography course, seek admission to colleges like Patna Women's College, Isabella Thoburn Degree College, St. Xavier's College, S.S. Jain Subodh PG College, Dr. D.Y. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College, etc., for merit-based admission. All the best!

Yes, for taking admission in PhD course at ILBS Delhi, candidates must appear for an entrance exam. The exam accepted for PhD course is UGC NET. However, if the candidate has not appeared for it, they have to appear for the ILBS Delhi written exam which as the name suggests, is conducted by the institute itself. After clearing the exams, a personal interview round is conducted at the institute which is the final step for admission.

If you're getting ready for the 2nd PUC History exam, just focus on the main chapters like the Indian freedom struggle, Wodeyars of Mysore, Vedic times, and the Mauryas. Questions from these usually come every year. Go through Gandhi's movements, Akbar's rule, and Harsha's empire properly. Also, don't take the small 1- and 2-mark questions lightly — they're easy marks. Try solving old question papers too. That really helps before the exam.

Yes, a PhD degree can turn out to be an extremely stressful academic journey where you may feel overwhelmed with high expectations, demanding coursework, long hours of study, and the feeling of isolation. It is a complete roller coaster ride that requires passion and determination, as the research thesis keeps you engrossed most of the time, leading to reduced social interaction and conversations, frequent irritability, and failures at different points throughout the long academic journey. All of this could potentially increase anxiety levels.

To make sure your Ph.D. research is authentic, you should, first of all, choose a clear research topic along with an identified research gap on which you would like to work. Then you should start with literature reviews where you read a plethora of books, articles, and journals related to the chosen research topic, select your target audience, and collect data through online surveys and group discussions. Regularly assess your work and take feedback from your peers and supervisor to make sure you successfully complete your PhD thesis while ensuring sheer originality.

Yes, pursuing a PhD degree can often turn out to be a journey of solitude owing to a culture of long, silent, and independent research, which often makes mutual conversations difficult. You often find yourself sitting in libraries for hours and sipping coffee while reading various books, articles, and journals to come up with a strong thesis work. There is less social interaction, and time management may seem difficult, but with your persistent efforts and passion for the field, you can overcome this feeling of loneliness and reach your final goal of PhD completion.
