Master of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Philosophy are two different courses. As you may already know Master of Philosophy is known as M Phil. You can pursue MPhil course after completing a post graduate course. Now this course has been discontinued.
Master of Arts in Philosophy which is also known as MA Philosophy is a course that you can pursue after graduation.
Master of Philosophy is a degree in Philosophy that can be pursued with any specialisation whereas Master of Arts in Philosophy in a degree in Arts with Philosophy as a specialisation.

While a background in psychology can be helpfulbut it is not always required.
Many colleges offering educational psychology programs are might ask for educational backgrounds and Psychology as a subject in class 12.
However, having a basic understanding of psychological concepts can make it easier to grasp the course esaily. Some programs offer introductory courses or foundational modules to help students without a psychology background.

As this is a government college, the fee structure of the B.A. course provided by Government College for Girls, Patiala, is very affordable. Generally, annual fees lie between INR 5,000 - INR 10,000, depending upon the course and extra facility charges pertaining to laboratories or extracurricular activities. Yes, you can do BA in single subject in History. It itself offers various Specialization within the subject to pursue .
You can go for BA or You can go BA Honours in the same subject as to gain specialisation status in the same.

The total tuition fee for SIT Pune PhD is INR 90,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Aspirants qualifying all the selection rounds need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
