The Bachelor of Arts (BA) course of MG Kashi Vidyapith is a three-year programme. It follows a semster pattern and is divided into six semesters. In each semesters, students are required to study certain core (complusory) and elective subjects. These subjects differ depending on choice of specialisation. The curriculum is designed in accordance with NEP 2020.

However, as per the university's NIRF Report 2024, a median salary package of INR 3.37 LPA was offered to students purusing UG (3-year) courses (such as BA, BSc, BCA, etc.) in 2023. The median salary package has shown an improvement since 2022. The placement trend for MGKVP UG (3-year) placements is presented below:

According to the university's NIRF Report 2024, a median package of INR 3.37 LPA was offered to the students pursuing UG (3-year) courses (including BA). 569 UG (3-year) students were placed out of a total of 1,429 students. According to MGKVP reviews on Shiksha.com, an average rating of three stars (out of five) was provided by students to the university's BA placements.

The total intake capacity of MGKVP Varanasi for BA courses is 1,59,573. This includes the BA seats available at the institutes affiliated with MGKVP. At the MGKVP campus, there are 3,319 BA seats for varoius specialisations. These seats are allocated to eligible applicants through the university-level counselling. Aspirants must appear for the counselling conducted by the university. The counselling is based on the applicants' performance in the last qualifying exam.
