Make a plan for all parts – Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking. Do practice every day for few hours. Use IELTS books and online stuff. Talk in English with friends. The IELTS test has four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each part checks your English skills.

  • Listening: You listen to recordings and answer questions.
  • Reading: You read passages and answer questions. Academic and General Training reading is different.
  • Writing: There are two tasks. Academic asks to describe a graph or chart. General Training asks to write a letter.
  • Speaking: You talk face-to-face with the examiner. It has three parts: introduce yourself, speak on a topic, and talk more about it.

The difficulty of IELTS exam is not same for everyone. It depends on your English level and how much you prepare. Many students find IELTS Writing and IELTS Speaking little hard because you need good ideas and fluency.

But if you do practice and know the test format, the exam becomes easy. Focus more on your weak areas and you can get a good band score.
